World Junior Curling

Yesterday saw the start of the Championships in Tallinn, Estonia. Scotland are represented in both the Womens and Mens events, with England qualifying for the first time in the Womens event.

Scotland Women - Gina Aitken, Naomi Brown, Rowena Kerr, Rachel Hannen and Karina Aitken

England Women - Hetty Garnier, Angharad Ward, Naomi Robinson, Lucy Sparks and Niamh Fenton

In the Womens event, Scotland have 2 wins out of 2 and England have won 1 and lost 1.
Scores - Scotland 8 Estonia 2, Korea 9 England 3, Czech Republic 4 Scotland 6 and England 5 Russia 4.

Scotland Men - Bruce Mouat, Duncan Menzies, Derrick Sloan, Angus Dowell and Bobby Lammie

After 3 games in the Mens event, Scotland have won 2 and lost 1.
Scores - Scotland 9 USA 2, Switzerland 7 Scotland 4 and Scotland 5 Korea 4.
