After spending a small fortune to move him a few train stops up the West Coast Line, it appears that Pep has decided that the bloke that wrecks hotel rooms and bars on his nights off is no longer for him. He was barred from every hotel in Brum, how long did it take for the Manc hoteliers and there-abouts to catch on?
There might also be a matter (no evidence but there's a reason somewhere) why Southgate didn't pick him for England's latest exploits, beyond the fact that Pep wasn't picking him either. The FA will no doubt pick up a tab or two for over-exuberance, like The Navy does in some bars in Gibraltar when "the fleet comes in", but there are limits if there seems to be a serial offender involved.
