For me we need progressive coaches not run of the mill or old fashioned. I've looked at some players he's been in squads with who now coach, they include Shay given, who'd be a good goalkeeper coach, Rory delap, who's followed Robbie Keane a few places, lee bullen who was part of the furniture at wednesday wasn't he sco?
He's also played with duff, pato, Moore, rob Edwards and Ian evatt so that doesn't mean much
Yes, Bullen still has legend status at Wednesday. He was captain for our 2005 playoff win, been caretaker 3 times and left us to go manage Ayr Utd in Scotland where he got them to the playoffs. He's a no nonsense, old school type as a coach, just like he was as a player.
