The Championship is bloated with mediocre teams now.
Wednesday were awful to watch all season. To finish mid-table despite being awful tells you plenty about the quality of this league.
I can only imagine how poor the teams below us must have been.
Most clubs can't compete financially as the big boys will just outbid the minnow clubs, potentially making the 5m player go for around 8-9M instead.
There are now entire teams full of Johnson's & Smith's at Championship level as a consequence of cost cutting measures leaving squads with reduced quality.
Soon the Championship and L1 will blur together as there will be little difference between them in quality with a chasm opening up between the EPL & Championship.
It's already too late, the big boys and their greed have destroyed football.
