Yes, on my way out after it went 3-1 on Saturday I said to the bloke in front of me…I’ll see you next season…he replied…you will have good eyesight if you do. He’s not renewing, he comes from Bradford and used to support Park Avenue way back in the day. I suspect he’ll go back to watching them next season.
As I’ve said before on here,we have a group of 5 that car share every home game. It’s worked well and we split the Gas works car park pass between us at £27each for the season.
5x £249
5x £27 car park each
£1380 plus spend on the day, programme, beer and food
Next season as it stands we are looking at
2x £389
1x £419
3x £60 car park each
£1377 plus spend on the day which will drop because we are 2 less in the group
We may even be down to 2in the group if they don’t inspire us with managerial appointments not to mention we may even knock the car park on the head.
Way to drive revenue Mr Nagle and co!.
One last point, we had 9 home league games on Sky/Sky red button this season. So taking that into account, stay at home and watch them and only pay to go to the non televised games.
£28 x 14 non televised games = £392
It’s cheaper to follow Town that way than buying the season card
