Anyway SS, I'm thinking of booking a week at an hotel in either Wick or Thurso to use as a base for touring the North coast and Orkney Islands next year.

Is there owt to choose between the two or any definite no's ? I'll need a supermarket and a petrol station, not bothered about pubs but decent places to eat out would be good
