That was bloody awful.

I’d expected much more from TM and his brand of football and always feared the curse of the returning hero.

At the moment I would expect him to be leaving at the end of the season.

Apologies for the obvious question Stairs, but to be replaced by whom? By the way, I’m also very disappointed but I’m not sure sacking TM is the answer

I know. But it’s the utter frustration of it all. 

Other clubs find a new manager that takes them to new levels and exciting times. 

Other clubs have players that fight all the way and recognise this was their Cup game. Win it and we are still in it - it was binary. 

TM was brilliant with us before and has been brilliant elsewhere. I love the man for all of that and I have a special admiration for him given all he has been through. 

But, this is my club and I expect him to repeat what he has done before and not ruin his legacy. 

I have been saying all season, to anyone who will listen, that promotion is a curse. If we got promoted we have no money and could not build a squad that could compete.  It would have a season of continual defeat and relegation would be almost certain. 

I would be happy to stay in the Championship and have TM build a new league winning team. 

But so far there is no sign. No dead cat bounce. Nothing to make a fan proud. I worry that he has lost it.
