It's showtime again with the young men and women taking part in the Championship Finals in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy. This will be the venue for the Winter Olympics, so will be a test for the venue as well as the curlers.
In the Women's Event, 10 teams have qualified to play - Canada, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. The 10 teams for the Men's Event are Canada, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Norway, Scotland, Switzerland, United States. Play will be over 9 games in a Round Robin from Saturday 12 April to Saturday 19 April. The top four teams will play in the Semi-finals on Sunday 20 April, with the Medal Games on Monday 21 April.
Scotland are represented by Orrin Carson (Skip), Logan Carson (Third), Archie Hyslop (Second) and Charlie Gibb (Lead) plus Jake Macdonald (not in photo) as Alternate. Their first game is against United States at 8.30am on Sunday, then Korea at 5.30pm later that day.
