Portsmouth striker Colby Bishop has extended his contract with the Championship club until the end of the 2027-28 season.
The 28-year-old has scored 50 goals in 120 matches since joining from Accrington in July 2022.
Bishop returned to the side in November after undergoing open heart surgery in the summer, after a potential risk had been identified during off-season cardiac screening.
"He's been a vital part of what that team have achieved ever since I arrived here and his goalscoring record speaks for itself," boss John Mousinho told the club website, external.
"We saw what a boost it gave to everyone inside Fratton Park when he returned for that game against Preston a few months ago.
"I've been impressed with how quickly he has adapted to playing in the Championship because, as well as his threat in front of goal, he offers so much to the team."
