Cambridge United have signed forward Esapa Osong on loan from Nottingham Forest for the rest of the season.
The 20-year-old has made one senior appearance for his parent club, coming on as a late substitute in a League Cup tie against Manchester United at Old Trafford almost two years ago.
He spent the first half of this season on loan at Rotherham United, scoring once in 10 games, but only made one league start and was recalled by Forest earlier this month.
U's boss Garry Monk said: "He is highly regarded, has all the attributes needed to be a success and is hungry to do well."
Cambridge are away to Rotherham on Tuesday, having achieved their first win in eight matches when they beat Mansfield Town 3-2 at the weekend.
They are, though, 22nd in the League One table, six points from safety, with 20 games left to play.
