League Two leaders Walsall have signed teenage Manchester United striker Ethan Wheatley on loan for the rest of the season.
The 19-year-old has made four senior appearances for United and won the under-18s Premier League Cup in 2024.
"It is my first loan so I am very excited to get going," Wheatley told the club website., external
"I had interest from other places but they didn't have as many games left in the season and a big thing for me is earning game time and trying to play as much as possible in the men's game, hopefully I can do that and stamp my mark."
For the under-18s he scored 12 goals in 16 league appearances last season and this campaign has six goals in nine Premier League Two outings.
