Rohl doesn't strike me as the type of person to walk away from projects he starts.
That said, it's not always a managers choice..
If Southampton trigger the clause then negotiations are inevitable. Bigger club. Better infrastructure.
At that point Rohl might be considered a fool to pass it up.
