As does just about every other club!! With the ranking of academies and the removal of the enrolment boundaries it means all the best players end up at PL academies irrespective of where they live. As a consequence nearly all Championship sides will have multiple loanees in their squads from PL team.

At this rate Southampton are better off letting Charles have a solid season at this level because he'll be familiar for when they're playing down here next year.

You might be right, so much will depend if they get rid of Martin, as any new Manager will want to see what he has to work with including any players out of loan.

Of course if they get rid of Martin then Charles might not be the only thing they want back from us!! DR has previous with them, he is bound to be on their list of replacements.
