What with a dodgy Deutsche Bahn service (have they become incompetent by learning from owning some of our incompetent train sets?) and a Microsoft supplier wiping out other transport networks across Europe, I was wondering if you'd have had to thumb a lift back or join the queue for a small boat ride back to Dover.
