Any political or faith based idealogy is historically renowned for using tragedy to further its own agenda.
To focus solely on the EDL who are, in fact, largely disbanded whilst ignoring the horrors from the extremist side of Islam is also part of the problem. It's enabling and also does nothing to help resolve the problem. Just look at how the Muslim community have used Palestine as a beating stick...
The evidence is all out there. If people are choosing to wilfully ignore it, that's nobody's fault but their own.
Extremists on both sides are a problem, whether it be a white natzee or a Muslim jihadi, they're two sides if the same coin and both right wing fascist ideologies.
However, one is primarily mouthy and horrible, the other perpetually stabbing, bombing, raping and intimidating. Refusing to integrate, demanding preferential treatment and calls everything it doesn't like "racist"
That is why people are fed up after decades of it. Compounded by being disenfranchised and made to be second class citizens.
