Will try yet again.
Came back for 3 weeks but giving up and going home after 2 . Weather not just bad, it's been bloody awful. Rain every day and cold with it. We're in a caravan at Leek and everyone is cutting it short and going home.
Went to the game yesterday and all I can say is I hope we get our act together before the season starts.
Boot was mom. Made some outstanding saves. Without him it would have been 6 or 7. First half wasn't too bad but it was only when he pulled Naylor back into central defence that we tightened up and stopped the onslaught.
Forrest were good but we were poor. Sheks, Akinola, Oldacre and Dobra kept trying and looked good Grimes was ok. Out of the new signings Gordon did ok. The rest were just AWOL . Madden can't pass and looked disinterested. Dunkley looks slow and flat footed.
We need better reserve full backs. Horton thought he was still on holiday and Mandeville is not a full back. Against class opposition they were both really off it.
Was going to do the Sheff Utd game but sod it, am off back for some sunshine. Loving life in Spain and moving there was the best thing I ever did. Even the new government can't change the weather.
Have now got our residency cards and health cards sorted so it's all looking good ??
