Grimsby have signed former Port Vale defender Lewis Cass and Iceland international midfielder Jason Dadi Svanthorsson, both on two-year deals.
Cass, 24, made 71 appearances for the Valiants over the course of two loan spells followed by a permanent move to Vale Park.
He finished the 2023-24 season on loan at League Two winners Stockport County, where he scored once in nine league appearances.

Svanthorsson, who can play as a winger or attacking midfielder and has five full caps for his country, joins the Mariners from Icelandic club Breidablik for an undisclosed fee.

The pair become Grimsby's sixth and seventh new arrivals this summer.
