Five years ago I'd have loved Chey Dunkley, but all he is IS a better version of Grimes. And yes we are offering three years to tempt the signature but in two year's time I'm guessing we'll have regretted it. If we go up will he be what we want in League One? And if our answer is no, what do we do with him then and at what cost?
Grimes and Dunkley at the centre of our defence? Looks like fixing a sieve with a very old sledgehammer to me.
We don't seem to be looking much beyond October as regards our future. Hope we are extending the treatment rooms and employing more physios. Perhaps we can attract a sponsor from the Geriatric Care Sector.
