Well done Danny Rohl, unlike managers in the past he was willing to make the necessary changes at HT.
Four subs which impacted our shape and ability to make the ball stick a little better in midfield.
Paterson applying the press that I'd been screaming for all night, which in turn forced a few mistakes out of Norwich.Vaulks put in a shift also albeit a little over aggressive at times.
The most glaring problems last night, for me, were some the usual suspects. Bambo Diaby, Gassama, Musaba and the non existent Windarse. Ihiekwe and Famewo also made plenty of mistakes though with them and Beadle I think it's that they're simply not comfortable playing out from the back? Beadle definitely isn't.
While Gassama and Musaba might be productive on that one game a month they show up, they go missing and create too many problems in the other games.
We simply cannot afford to have players like that, we've been through it with the JJ's and Kadeem Harris' and it rarely ends well for us.
I'd definitely release them.both.
So for the Stoke game, are we going back to the old guard of Pato, Vaulks, Bannan and (lord help me) Smith and Palms?
