Some totally over-the-top comments here! (Ground-closing??!!) We've got a top reputation compared with most other Clubs and have done for 60+ years (since chanting and Ends took off). D*ngles - on the other hand - have one of the worst reputations, so let's get some perspective. TV coverage didn't show the cause or the sequence, but I'm sure it wouldn't have even started without D*ngle fans going over-the-top.
I hate football violence, and I'm pretty placid, but I'd have naturally gone mad if some D*ngles had somehow got tickets for the Home End and all of a sudden got gobby and celebrated AT OUR END next to me. It's HUMAN NATURE, and part of local rivalry. How it escalated you can only guess. Anyone know?

Stairs: I'm using asterisks for D*ngles (and I could have really 'offended' by calling them T*tters). Hope that's acceptable. But WHY can I offend Islam, but not Semitism (as per your instructions)?
