I'm not as angry as I expected to be after losing, mainly because I think we did as well as we could with the players available...

If both teams had everyone available, I do think we would've given them a real run for their money.

But Dike, Maja, Grady are all big losses to us. Weimann and Ajayi would've arguably played a part too...

We missed that bit of pace, power and quality in forward areas.

BTA, for all his hard work, isn't at the level unfortunately. Poor touch. Doesn't hold the ball. Doesn't see a pass. He even lost his head when the good chance fell to him....

The only thing that really annoyed me was the nature of the first goal. I'm a firm believer that corners should be delivered into the box and always give you a chance to score. To play a soft one like that to the edge against a side who are purely counter attacking was criminal. And its unfortunate because the corner aside, Mowatt along with Yokuslu, were both excellent.

As for the 2nd goal, I think if Griffiths smoothers Cunha after his first touch there's no way he can score there. Either Griffiths beats him to the ball or he's so close that Cunha has nothing to aim at. His indecisiveness made it easy for Cunha. But at the end of the day, he's a young lad, so hopefully he will learn.

All in all, we come out with a bit of credit considering our missing players. And we still have won 80% of the cup ties with them.

As for the trouble...

There's no excuse for throwing things at the players and I do hope the club are able to find and ban whoever did that...

However, if the trouble in the Halfords / Brummy Road corner was down to Wolves fan(s) being in our end, I don't think any blame can be attributed to our fans for that. Our fans are entitled to defend themselves and those around them from opposition fans who would only sit and celebrate in our end with the intention of inciting violence. I'm of the belief that any fan sitting in the wrong end deserve whatever kicking they get.

Let's hope we can see the rest of the window out without any major departures. Despite the result, it shows the players the atmosphere that they could be playing in front of it they can get us promoted.
