How many games off do we need these days before the 'Pools Panel' sits? Do we count their "results". Assuming that's still a thing.
I was "doing the pools" for a short while on-line but the days of £multi-million winners on Littlewoods and Vernons were scuppered by the National Lottery. I won slightly less than I won when you could win a fortune back in the 70's & 80's. More or less 3/4 of bugger-all either way.
Interesting that the 2 biggest "Pools" companies were both from Liverpool at the time. That and those endlessly dodgy "Spot the Ball" competitions. The biggest "alternative" generator of income in Liverpool these days is drugs (allegedly). Go figure? Entrepreneurs to the end those scallywags.
