Massive win tonight and exactly what Pulis was pulled into the club for. When you're competitive, tough
to beat and don't just roll over for sides, you always have a chance to win.
We were a soft touch under Irvine - we stood up tonight.
Swansea are neat and tidy and bossed the ball, but without Sigurosson they didn't have much guile. Apart
from Montero who is a world class dribbler, we were more than capable of coping with them.
And when they did threaten, Lescott was really good today. MOTM for me.
We soaked it up, but looked more clinical on the break. The plaudits will go to Brown because he's just
come into the side, but Saido was the star for me. Linked up really well with the midfield and his goal
was a peach. Brown was much improved too though, nice finish and lay off for Saido. Hopefully with his
confidence growing, he'll have more positive contribution to make in the coming weeks.
3 more wins should be enough to see us safe. If we battle this hard for the rest of the season, we should
be okay. But a big positive to win tonight.
