I work on the theory that Islam is about four to five hundred years younger than Christianity so it is still behind in development. If you think of all the things (Spanish Inquisition, Witch burning etc) that happened in the name of Jesus during the 14th to 18th century then maybe the Islamists will have grown out of it in a couple of hundred years

Or maybe they are just deranged, sadistic, control freaks hiding behind a religion well not so much hiding but you know what I mean
