It's wrong though. This £5.1bn will just sit in the Premier League. We're getting less of the stories of Giant Killings in the cups and the gap between divisions is growing by the season. If you ask the people of Spain, Italy, France why football in Engalnd is the best in the world they will tell you it is because our league system is competitive all the way down and on their day, anyone can beat anyone.
This money will be spunked away on a few shit players from abroad whilst we have teams in the lower reaches of our system going bust over debts that are equal to on third of a weeks wages in the Prem.
