Unfortunately for Nick, 20,000 needs a full South stand and not just 500 (if that) Saints fans. There will be the usual no shows of some season ticket holders so the crowd I think will be around 16k although the official figure may be higher as they always include sold seats irrespective of whether those seats are taken or not. They are certainly not the only club to do this.
What could possibly go wrong with the scanners!!!
I think the burning question for you Hibs fans is , has Montgomery managed to coach the defense to be any better as there is no problem in attack, although today my mate mentioned that Youan may be a doubt?
Think it's exciting times for Hibs but all too often in the past the fans don't take much to start calling for a new manager as soon as a couple of results go against them. Nick Montgomery needs time and at least the January transfer window, so fans need to be patient.
As a post script, I was at Edgar Street to watch Herefords game in the FA Cup against Anstey Nomads last week where I was surprised to see Conrad Logan trot out in goal for the visitors. Although Hereford won 2 . 0 the big guy will always be a hero down Easter Road way and I think he has lost some weight
..........I still remember the day I walked into Hampden in the Cup semi final and saw him warming up............just shows appearances can be deceptive.
