Terriers v Fox's

Well Snoots, Koroma used to cross the ball, dribble, play through balls and score goals back in non-league. But he did play inside more than out wide. As for Sorba Thomas ......... well have you ever played any TALL forwards? He seems to be able to cross for Keiffer Moore who is 6' 5". Sorba is surely crossing to what you've got! If you don't whip the ball in at whatever height, not only is it easy for a half-decent keeper, but a giant, especially one with very few neck muscles, won't be able to generate any pace on the header. Rudoni used to cross for Wimbledon too. Is there a sort of Huddersfield equivalent of Dave Prowse and the Green Cross Man preventing crosses?

I'm pleased you played with some promise. Unfortunately you have to get some reward in points quite quickly to keep morale up. Fingers crossed ..... and a couple of toes that still move!

My real point was that you can't possibly win fielding jamez's equivalent of three centre forwards, including a giant with no-one to feed them the ball. It'd be a return to the days of John Beck's Cambridge launching huge punts from the back, because otherwise you'd never get forward. Your actual starting eleven didn't look bad yesterday, although on paper Leicester looked well superior (as they should in the Championship). Wisely you played on grass not paper.
