I both can and have scraped the bottom of barrels far, far deeper than that one, Dancing. Trust me.
I suppose performers are no different to footballers or anybody else. They have off-days, especially if they`re coming to the end of a long tour and they`re feeling pretty knackered. A footballer can be subbed in those circumstances, though; a performer can`t, especially if he or she is the headline act. I once heard somebody make a similar comment after he`d been to see Tina Turner live and she was one of the greats when it came to stage presence.
Not surprised at the bottles. It was Manchester after all and United were probably playing away that day, so the lads had to find some way of getting rid of their empties.
