Great news just in, Lee McCulloch has been 'offered' a 2 match ban for 'stamping' on Dale Carrick the other day. Even though it was never a 'stamp' in a million years.
Still, two games without his disastrous, stultifying presence at the heart of our problems/defence can't be sniffed at.
Was going to post this in the 'positivity' thread, but we all know they'll appeal it and he'll no doubt get off.
Edit: Official reason given:
Well, his 'stand' - not a stamp at all - cannot possibly be violent conduct then, can it? There was no downward motion or pressure at all, as far as I can remember.
Would like the club to fight this all the way, if it wasn't for the fact we could actually gain something from his omission. Fair has to be fair though, surely?
Edit2: Oh, and the two matches he's been offered a ban for are split between the next match, and the next match he plays in the Scottish Cup. Which might never happen for him. Could the SFA possibly f*ck this up any more?

Disciplinary Rule 200: In that at the above match you did deliberately stand upon Dale Carrick of Raith Rovers FC and commit an act of Violent Conduct
