This "speculation" first surfaced in the Daily Fail yesterday and is now being repeated verbatim by numerous rags including The Unexamined by Dom Howson who does the Wendies pages for Retch/Yorkshire Live.

It may turn out to be true/false but the lack of anything confirming/denying it on the Town website is deafening.
