For me today, the most worrying aspect was that there seemed very little 'fight', or 'heart' from a lot of players, Exactly the thing that TP is famous for, we still seem to be lacking.
Obviously the lack of specialist FB's is more than puzzling too, especially as we have 2 pretty fast and adventurous ones (Gamboa & Poco) already at the club. What is it about these 2 that makes them unpickable, and makes us finish with a CB and a midfielder in these positions today, struggling like buggery to cope?
Not only is this giving us major problems defensively, it's not giving us anything going forward.
I certainly wasn't expecting TP to suddenly turn us into Arsenal, but I WAS expecting square pegs in square holes, fight, and much better ball retention by now.
Very disappointed at this moment in time
....oh, and if I was a Burnley fan I'd be really pigged off that my side only got 1 point; truthfully we deserved nothing today, and when you look at the point v Everton (same), AND the 3 points v Hull (struggled like mad against a very poor team), IMO we're actually fortunate to have as many points as we've got
