You failed to mention that last kick of the match on the Gameball cost me 10pts and a score up to 200pts. And in 2nd spot. Now that is cruel. sob sob. And an own goal ta boot. 
I must admit this 13pts difference between getting the game ball right and not, is daft. It can take 2/3 weeks to close a gap of 13pts, but then you lose it on one game is daft. Suggestion: reduce the points all round, it is after all a prediction league and not a lottery.
An idea: If you predict 0-0 and its 1-0/0-1 or 1-0/0-1 and its 0-0 you get 1pt same a score ball. Bonus and game ball correct score 5pts or result 3pts, and you if wrong you lose 3pts.
re-play offs result on correct score results.
