The other annoying thing with Wigan is, and OK they've not outright not paid their players, they've paid them late, however they were supposed to ring fence 125% of their estimated monthly wage bill. I know with win/start/appearance bonus's it's a moving target but it isn't going to move that far at Wigan. They've beat us twice whilst not being in a position to meet their wage obligations. Likewise Reading have beaten us by not abiding by a budget they agreed to with the EFL, effectively cheating the whole division in every game played. In both cases this amounts to cheating as they are putting out sides they can't afford, but they only get a few points deducted. We and other clubs don't get the points back we/they otherwise might have won (and I'm not saying we'd have won all 3 games, but I doubt we'd have lost all 3 on a more level playing field). I know it's a guessing game, but if they've cheated all season, a 3 or 6 points deduction is not a fair reflection on what they might realistically have got playing to "the rules", whatever they are.
