In the grand scheme of things I have no problem with Gary Lineker expressing his opinion. He has a right to freedom of speech even if IMO it's an insulated crock of sh'it
It's just a shame the rest of us don't have that same freedom and insulation if what we say goes against the mantra
I hope he'll back me up when I disagree with him on some issues
In the good old days it was called arguing the toss (sometimes mass debating
) now it's virtually a criminal offence to voice your thoughts and opinions. All those Orwellian theories and 80's films are now becoming reality. We're a long way down a very, very slippery slope.
