I saw this earlier and my immediate thought was 'what a selfish twat'. It hasn't changed since. He could have caused a right pile-up 
and, given the time of day on a busy arterial road, taken out a few mums (or dads) with kids on the school run Prick
or any other innocent for that matter
He needs charging with reckless driving, on top of the outstanding drink/drive charge, and f ucking locking up for a year or two and then he'd get the very best councilors etc for his 'depression' free of charge.
