Have to question why they didn't see through him in the interview process to be honest. HR professionals have enough tools at their disposal to work out what type of personality people are and what type of jobs they are suited to. Maybe our recruitment guy ignored or didn't use these but it didn't take long for the real personality and lack of nous to come out.
