with this cost of living crisis going on who can afford to go to games?
these big clubs will soon be playing in half empty stadiums cause people will be priced out of attending
The PL total revenue this season will top $6B, of that only $790m comes from matchday revenue, so even if half of that would disappear due to fans staying away then it would only reduce their revenue by 6.5%!! For some teams it will be more than that but for Chelsea it would only amount to a loss of revenue of $41m against total revenue of $568m and for Bournemouth at the other end it would reduce their revenue by just 3% if half the fans stayed away.
The cost of living crisis won't affect them at all, its why some clubs don't really care about the fans at all.
