There's only one of those that has made it into an England side and those were only for 3 friendlies about 6 years ago (Heaton). He's on £62K a week.
In 20 games this season, Darlow has been on the bench 7 times, not in the squad 5 times and injured for the rest. He's on £30K a week and the youngest of the 3.
As much as I like Smithies, I don't think he's really any better than what we have now, he's only been on the bench twice at Leicester in Cup games this season. Can we afford the £33K a week that Leicester pay him?
