Morning All,
I know it looks like I selected a 4-4-1-1, with Big Vic being the target man, Saido in behind, and a flat 4 midfield, but I would ideally like it to be a more of a 4-3-3, with Sess and Saido interchanging, running from wide to the middle, feeding of Vic, and the midfielders just that bit behind and feeding in when the ball inevitably comes back, but with TP,s 2 banks of 4 when defending, it's not easy to re-adjust to an attacking formation like this. Vic needs to hold the ball up to allow the others to get into place, or the speedier players need to leg it up the wing with the ball while the others get into the box or around the edge of the box, where a lot of goals are now being scored from, as the ball dips and swerves more and deflects of the legs of others.
We can be a counter attacking side, but at the expense of a rigid bank of 4's in defence, which is sound defence but stifles attack.
Anyway, what do I know.
Cheers,
Kookiebags.
