A flurry of thoughts
#11
The thing with Sessegnon is that his best games have always been when he's up front (just off
the striker). I don't think he's a winger myself and TBH, I don't think there are many lower half
managers who would trust him in a flat 4 man midfield.

So if TP insists on Victor and Saido, I can't see Sess starting games.

I think the only way all 3 can fit in the same side is if Sess plays off Big Vic up front and Saido
plays left midfield like he did against Everton and when he broke through last season. Saido
showed he's disciplined defensively and can play this role - but it would probably be a waste
of best attribute (runs off the shoulder and finishing).

At least with TP, if Sess is dropped we will still have 2 forwards on the pitch (Victor and Saido),
Irvine dropped Sess a few times and replaced him with a defensive midfielder. I think TP at least
likes a partnership up top.

I personally prefer Sess off Saido. But TP likes a big striker to hold the ball up and take the pressure
off the team. I guess it'll be a case of seeing what develops, but I can't imagine all of Sess, Victor and
Saido starting games yet.
