Sadly, Snoots is so right about the crowd reaction to Pritchard. They might as well have said we'll put your name on the scoresheet now.
I know he wasn't popular with you, but he was part of a very unhappy team. That doesn't excuse him, but once you've grown to hate what you are doing it is hard to do it well ...... When a player develops that frame of mind, he tends to be a symptom of what's going on rather than the cause.
It is the fact that Pritchard plays looking forward from midfield, as Jon Russell does that made me say to Theo that would make a basis for a midfield. You desperately need goal power and your forwards lack it to an extent and aren't being helped by what comes forward to them. You have Camara who will be a star and Rudoni and Thomas are both players, but it isn't more defending in midfield that will win you games. You even passed Koroma onto Pompey instead of fixing that problem ...
And now two injuries ....... Nakayama looks a real loss.
Surely broken-down and unwanted Championship players can't be the answer? Otherwise, they wouldn't be on the shelf. If someone like Hogg is part of the answer, then common sense cries out for you to surround him with youth ... and that would be youth looking toward the opposition goal rather than their own.
I do hope things improve for you. I'm sure you need a change of focus. Look at the 0 you scored, rather than the 2 they managed.
