Anyway. Nice to see Lloyd Maitland invited back last night. Apparently he doesn't talk much about it. He's been married to someone I know's auntie for years. He only knows him as Uncle Lloyd. Never knew til earlier this year that he'd ever played football.

Just got around to reading the article in the programme about his life. Four pages worth of it. More than the four paragraphs I dedicated to him on his birthday in the daily thread. 

Never knew about the racist abuse he got in his short playing career. I certainly don't recall it ever happening at Leeds Road. But then again, I wasn't on the receiving end of it.
