Wonder who this surprise package could be, I'd be leaning with you towards diarra, I think midgley, bright and shanks are all highly rated too but Id probably say it's too early to call them a surprise.
It could be a defender to come into the back three, but I don't see what that gains really. Could yuta fill in the midfield void, he's done it before and atm it could be his position, I think hes struggling with the physicality at CB and the pace at lb/lwb, Ben Jackson is also primarily a cm who's been converted back, as is josh ruffles.
That being said, he's not bound to play three at the back, he could revert to a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3, who knows, he seems to be willing to try multiple formations, probably because he still doesn't know which one he prefers. I still think 4-2-3-1 is what our squad is designed for, but 3-5-2 is what yields best results at this given time
