He did an interview with BBC sport and thought he'd be a good option as a clean slate coach with a preseason, IE instead of Schofield in the summer, but now, I'm not sure.
The same can be said about the likes of Carrick, Ferguson and Barry though.
He does have some things going for him though. He had a half decent playing career and worked under a few successful managers, mainly Felix magath. He's used to the set up that we're already using.
