... I'm not sure how lenient the 'powers that be' are - or even SHOULD be - in these situations. If a registration is late, its late, surely? Do they look at the circumstances surrounding each case on appeal?
Maybe if it's down to no fault on the 'new' club they are a bit more forgiving?

I agree, as with VAR, offside by a gnat's whisker is still offside and we know the rules so the same applies in these modern times with clear recording of the date and time sent. So, it's very much a case of 'The computer says no'.
If the issue was at West Brom then heads should role as it could cost us a promotion challenge and many millions of pounds.
