Twenty one shots on target last night, sixty in four league games one goal, does suggest we have a problem putting the ball in the night, the game last night was frustrating in the fact we should have buried them, we had some clear cut chances Johnson after about three minutes and Parrott just before half time when he hits the keepers legs, both should have gone in but apart from the inability to score that was a pretty decent performance, we will play worse and win.
They defended well ad the keeper saved everything that was fired at him.
First half Parrott worked his socks off can find space and looks to have something about him although he needs to find the back of the net when his chances come.
Although dominant in the first half the Millers came close a couple of times Washington narrowly wide and another effort that hit the post but that was about the level of threat they posed all night, apart froma sliced Wils effort in the second half they never saw the whites of Woodman's eyes again
The second half was all one way chances came and went and for one terrific ten minutes period they could barely get out of their own box, Riis hit the post and Sir Bradley of Potts fired in a long distance effort which Johansen tipped onto the bar, oddly though the manager made two substitutions whlst we were on top and to be honest we lost momentum. Give them credit for defending well but should hgave wn this.

Preston boss Ryan Lowe told BBC Radio Lancashire:

"That's probably one of the best performances in my managerial reign really, but without the goals because everything we did was spot on. Everything we did was fantastic, but ultimately goals win you games.

"If we're not creating any chances and we're not getting through on goal that's a worry, but there isn't any worry there.

"Frustrating, yes. Would I have loved three points? A hundred percent would have, but it's the old cliche, if you can't win it, don't lose it."

Rotherham manager Paul Warne told BBC Radio Sheffield:

"Preston were the better side on the night. They had many opportunities to take the three points, but that doesn't take away from how dogged our performance was.

"The first half was reasonably equal. We had a couple of really good chances to score, as did they, but second half they dominated. We struggled to get out.

"There were some tired bodies at the end, but to hang on and keep a clean sheet away from home against a team who I think is going to be really up there, I'm really proud of them."
