Apparently some Aussie chap, the winner of todays cycling time trial from Wolvo to Dudleeeeey and back, via a few torturous back roads in amongst the main roads, took an unbelievable 45 mins and change on a push rod to win the gold.
I say unbelievable because it normally takes almost that long just to get to Dudleeeey in a car by the most direct route, let alone the one they took and it wasn't even close to the most direct, there or back.
OK, he didn't have to stop for red lights but still. About time some numpty co-ordinated the traffic lights round here for the rest of us.
