I'm a little surprised at the stick that Wisdom gets on here and generally. He did make a poor mistake
for the 2nd goal today and does get his positioning wrong from time to time, but most of the time he's been
pretty decent - good on the ball, fast, never gets muscled, gets forward well. He has to improve his
defensive positioning for sure, but can't help thinking he gets a raw deal just because we have Gamboa
waiting in the wings and people want to see him play.

As much as I'd like to see Gamboa given a chance - I don't think Wisdom is anywhere near a liability.

I also think we're well stocked at full back with Wisdom, Gamboa, Pocognoli, Davidson, Baird and
Gardner all capable performers. I don't think Lescott did too bad either, really.

The Lescott thing is probably due to Pulis wanting us to have more presence in the air in both boxes. And to
be honest - we did look more threatening. Lescott should've scored today while Dawson was unlucky.
Maybe Pulis thinks it's worth sacrificing a full back getting forward from open play to have more chance
of scoring from a set play. We need to remember that two of Spurs goals came from dead balls - it wasn't
like they dominated as a result of Lescott playing full back. From open play, we easily created as much
as they did.

Just a bad day at the office I think.
