I just read Boreham Wood have released Kane Smith. I would sign him and work how to fit him into the team later. Boreham Wood must have gone mental.
I'd go for Zico Asare, Oxford City, Mussa, contracted at Weymouth, Tavares at Wealdstone, Olomolowele released by Weymouth, Kane Dummond top scorer from out wide too for Warrington Rylands, Debra Halifax's centre back if Pete Wild doesn't grab him for Barrow, Maguire-Drew if Grimsby don't want to play him and I'd consider going back for Dieserunpronounceable too who looks a handful to me. I'd also be profiling EFL young reserve keepers, age 21/22, height 1.90 minimum, desperate for regular competitive experience and ready to listen. Stones from Guiseley might be a prospect for us too. That's a start.
We can't compete with Wrexham for big-money signings, so I don't want to look to the EFL too much. If we could interest a released player from the Championship or maybe Div One with a really nice wage packet, who could convince us he really wanted to play and re-build his career that might interest me. But with EFL players Matt is right, attitude is all-important, he'd have to convince us he really wanted to get stuck in.
