Just backing up a little, Ashleigh school is a housing estate now, Mrtyle springs is what used to be Hurfield school (my seat of learning had to use Hurfield baths as our shed didn't have a pool), and my old school Frecheville is now yet another housing estate.
And as an aside , my ex wife went to Ashleigh .. NOT a great recommendation Imre !!!!

I remember playing football at Hurlfield School in an U12 match. The pitch was on a right slope with a wind blowing from one end & we played downhill & led 2-1 at half time. Second half against the slope & wind, our keeper could hardly get goal kicks out of the penalty area so we were camped in our own box & ended up losing 6-2.
